Racing Ahead: Kingshill Athletes Set the Pace for County Glory!

Term 5, Week 5

Kingshill is proud to announce that seven of our talented athletes have qualified for the County Athletics Championships in Gloucester, following impressive performances at the recent district competition. 

In Years 8 and 9, Ruby R and Eliza B both demonstrated exceptional stamina and determination in the 800m event, placing 2nd and 3rd respectively. 

Our Year 10 and 11 athletes also delivered outstanding results. Josh P secured 2nd place in the Long Jump, while Oliver C leapt to 2nd in the High Jump. Luziana W earned 1st place in the 200m and will also represent the school in the 80m Hurdles. Harry B ran a strong race to finish 2nd in the 1500m, and Molly R dominated the Triple Jump, taking 1st place. 

We wish all of them the best of luck as they go on to represent Kingshill at the County Championships.
