School Games and Primary PE Liaison
Kingshill school is in the privileged position of hosting the Cotswolds School Games Organiser, who is Sadie Herbert. Sadie uses our site for many of the sporting events but her role covers all the Primary, Secondary, Special Schools and Colleges in the Cotswolds.
The School Games offers a series of sporting festivals and competitions to keep students and pupils of the Cotswolds fit, healthy and leading more active lives. Its purpose is to listen to student voice and support the district with acting upon what our children are saying. It is there to tackle inequalities in sport so that it is wider reaching and for all.
Sadie also supports local primary schools with their CPD, mentoring PE Leaders and supporting schools with their Primary PE Funding, sequences of teaching/planning, assessment of PE and positive experiences within their settings.
Sadie has developed a Sports Leadership Academy at our school. Here, students are able to develop their leadership roles and help lead local primary events.
