4 April 2025

It was wonderful to see our students in their summer uniform this week and although a little nippy in the mornings, the sun has been out in full force all week.  We had the privilege of seeing the whole school gather together at the end of lunch on Tuesday for our Fire Drill.  As always, the students were exemplary and to reward them for the responsibility taken, we have decided to hold a non-uniform day on Friday 11th April – more details below.

The sunshine has also helped our attendance further this week – we have reached 92% year-to-date and on one day this week, we hit 93%!

This week’s Fast Track Friday went to our brilliant Y11 students who secured the best behaviours this week.  Next week, it’s over to the year group completing the most homework on time!

From Y7D performing in the assembly, Sports Leaders supporting at the primary school, Saturn lifting the Geoguesser trophy with Ethan B in Y10, Y9s out at Woodchester Mansions, careers talks and our Y11s enjoying a final ‘Hurrah’ in their own Sports Day, it has been a jam-packed week.  Amidst this, the Y11 students have also been completing their practical exams in Fine Art and the rest of the school have been actively engaged in their learning.  Visitors to the school have commented on the outstanding learning behaviours they have seen in lessons and the pride our students have for their work.
