Community Events

Looking for exciting events happening in the local area? There are plenty of fantastic opportunities to get involved in, from festivals and charity fundraisers to markets and live performances. While these events are not directly linked to Kingshill School, we love to support and share what’s happening in our wider community.

Whether you’re interested in arts and culture, sports activities, or family-friendly gatherings, there’s always something to look forward to. Keep an eye on this page for updates on local events and ways to get involved.

The Gateway Ice Rink

Looking for something to do as temperatures drop?  The Gateway Ice Rink in South Cerney is back for the 2025 season from 21st November to 18th January. With family sessions, sensory‑friendly times, and themed evenings like DJ on Ice, there’s something for everyone. After skating, enjoy wood‑fired pizza, crepes, or toasted marshmallows at the Gateway Café.  A perfect way to celebrate winter and make lasting memories in the Cotswolds.

Santa Fun Run

The Churn Project is hosting its 3rd Santa Fun Run for families on Sunday 7th December in the Abbey Grounds and would really love to invite friends and family of the community to join.  There is a 5K route for runners and a 1K route for families, or those who would rather a shorter route!
