Community Events
Looking for exciting events happening in the local area? There are plenty of fantastic opportunities to get involved in, from festivals and charity fundraisers to markets and live performances. While these events are not directly linked to Kingshill School, we love to support and share what’s happening in our wider community.

Clarendon Fine Art
This February half term, Clarendon Fine Art galleries across the UK are hosting a fun, free art competition for children aged 4–14. Families can collect a competition pack from their local gallery from 9–22 February, create a mini artwork inspired by family, and enjoy the chance to win exciting local and national prizes.
Steppes Travel
Join Steppes Travel for a free screening of Ocean on 12 February 2026, 18:30–21:30, at the Corinium Museum, Cirencester.
Narrated by David Attenborough, this stunning 2025 documentary explores the beauty and fragility of our oceans, highlighting both the threats they face and the hope for their recovery.

Kemble Village Hall
All families, carers and grandparents are invited to a free half‑term event at Kemble Village Hall. Activities include mini massages, henna tattoos, circus skills and crafts, plus free food and drinks.
Local support services will also be there, including Rethink Mental Health, Citizens Advice, NHS Strong and Steady, P3, The Churn, Carers Hub and the Foodbank.

Bikeability Holiday Courses - 2026 School Holiday
Gloucestershire County Council is offering Bikeability courses during all 2026 school holidays. These courses are designed for children aged 9–14 and help build cycling confidence and safety skills in small groups with qualified instructors.
2026 Course Locations & Dates:
- February Half-Term: Ashley Manor Prep School, Cheltenham
- Easter Holidays: Bournside School, Cheltenham
- May Half-Term: Kingshill School
- Summer Holidays: Skillzone (2 sessions available)
- October Half-Term: Pineholt Village Hall

Stroud and Cotswolds Youth Support service
A local community opportunity for young people to get involved in free youth group sessions at the Cirencester Impact Youth Centre. The sessions, organised by Family Action and commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council, are open to all and require no booking—just turn up on the night!

Cirencester Youth Club Opening - The Door
Beezee
Beezee Maximus run free, council-funded healthy living programmes across Gloucestershire, led by qualified nutritionists. These fun, interactive sessions help children, young people, and families live healthier lives.
A brand-new youth programme for ages 13–17 launches in February 2026, covering a wide range of lifestyle topics.
