GCSE Results 2020
This year, despite the highly unusual circumstances we find ourselves in, Kingshill School’s GCSE results were excellent and included some well-deserved outstanding personal achievements.
Our Year 11 pupils achieved results that were broadly in line with last year, and as expected we saw a slight increase in the number of pupils who achieved 5 or more standard passes (grades 9-4), including English and Mathematics, at GCSE.
Congratulations to all our Year 11 pupils, they worked very hard throughout Year 10 and their time at school during Year 11. The pupils were a credit to themselves, their parents and the school. We are immensely proud of them and the mature way they have handled the abrupt end to their education at Kingshill School.
The staff worked persistently hard to raise pupil expectations, encouraging and supporting the pupils throughout their GCSE courses. We are all delighted with the GCSE results and are very confident that the pupils have achieved accurate GCSE grades that reflect their true ability. If you would like more information on how Kingshill School established our Centre Assessed Grades, we have published an outline of the process on the school website.
We would like to wish our Year 11 pupils every success for their future.
